Safety instructions
Candles burn with an open flame, so before starting to use them, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the basic rules of safe use.
Before lighting the candle:
- Make sure that the candle is unpacked and all paper and plastic decorations and labels have been removed from it
– Place the candle on a still, sturdy and heat and flame resistant candle holder
– Shorten the candle wick, leaving it about 1 cm long
- Make sure that there are no flammable objects or materials near the candle
– Do not place candles closer than 10 cm from each other
– Make sure that there is no draft in the room where you will burn the candle
After lighting the candle:
- Do not leave a burning candle within the reach of children and animals
- Do not leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish the candle when leaving the room
– Never throw wicks, matches, etc. to a burning candle
- Make sure that the length of the wick of the burning candle is about 1 cm. If the wick is longer, the candle burns with a larger flame and smokes, it is necessary to shorten it with scissors. If the wick is shorter, it is recommended to pour a little liquid wax
- Do not touch a burning candle
To extinguish the candle:
– Only use a special hood for extinguishing candles, never blow out the candle
- Never extinguish the candle with water or any other liquid
